1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our catering services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

2. Services Description

Catered Creations by Lavon provides professional catering services for weddings, corporate events, special occasions, and private gatherings in Savannah, Georgia, and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.

3. Booking and Reservations

Booking Process

To book our services, you must:

• Submit a detailed request including event date, type, guest count, and menu preferences
• Receive and review our written proposal and quote
• Sign a service agreement and pay the required deposit
• Provide final guest count and menu selections within the specified timeframe

Deposits and Payment

A non-refundable deposit (typically 50% of the estimated total) is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event date. We accept payment via check, cash, or credit card (processing fees may apply).

Guest Count

Final guaranteed guest count must be provided no later than 7 days prior to the event. You will be charged for the guaranteed number or actual attendance, whichever is greater.

4. Cancellations and Changes

Client Cancellation

Cancellation policies are as follows:

• More than 60 days before event: Deposit refunded minus $250 administrative fee
• 30-60 days before event: 50% of deposit refunded
• Less than 30 days before event: No refund

Changes to Services

Menu changes and service modifications are accepted up to 14 days before the event. Changes requested after this time may incur additional fees and are subject to availability.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemic, government restrictions, or other acts of God. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a partial refund.

5. Food Safety and Dietary Requirements

We maintain the highest standards of food safety and are licensed and insured in accordance with Georgia food service regulations. While we accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies to the best of our ability:

• You must inform us of all dietary restrictions and allergies in writing at least 14 days before the event
• We cannot guarantee that our kitchen is completely free of allergens
• Guests with severe allergies should exercise appropriate caution
• We are not liable for allergic reactions or food-related illness unless caused by our negligence

6. Venue Requirements and Access

The client is responsible for ensuring:

• Adequate kitchen facilities, electrical power, and water access
• Appropriate space for food preparation and service
• Parking and loading access for our staff and equipment
• Climate-controlled environment suitable for food service
• All necessary permits and venue approvals

Additional charges may apply if venue conditions require extra equipment or staff.

7. Liability and Insurance

Catered Creations by Lavon maintains comprehensive liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for our services. We are not responsible for damage to venue property, injuries to guests, or other incidents outside our direct control. Clients may be required to provide proof of event liability insurance for certain venues.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and recipes, is the property of Catered Creations by Lavon and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

9. Photography and Marketing

We reserve the right to photograph events for marketing and portfolio purposes. If you prefer your event not be photographed or used in marketing materials, please notify us in writing before the event.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Chatham County, Georgia. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Chatham County, Georgia.
